Every year fewer & fewer seed varieties are made available by the large seed companies. Cost cutting and a focus on the needs of large growers are responsible but from a gardeners perspective this means that favorite varieties are lost.
From a food security perspective this means that our gardens share the same risk as the large growers - drought, blight and other pathogens.
At Eternal Seed we are dedicated to preserving the genetic diversity that is the legacy of our forefathers. Our ancesters spent their lives breeding varieties with tremendous flavours, magnificent aromas, rich exotic colours and resistance to common pathogens.
