This variety produces a 2-3 ft bush and is extremely frost hardy.  Warmer climates may plant in fall for a spring harvest.  Each stalk yields several, delicious, 1 inch diameter, deep purple florets.  These pictures were taken in our garden March 21 of 2015 - planted the previous autumn.  The majority of the florets will ripen over the next 3-4 weeks.  M=125-220 days
